Astrotech Corporation Regains NASDAQ Compliance

Austin, TX (June 24, 2009) - 

Astrotech Corporation (NASDAQ:ASTC - News) announced today that the Company received notice on June 18, 2009 from The NASDAQ Stock Market ("NASDAQ") confirming that it has regained compliance with the minimum bid price rule for continued listing. NASDAQ confirmed that the closing bid price of the Company's common stock has been at $1.00 per share or greater for at least 10 consecutive trading days. As a result, the Company is currently in compliance with all continued listing standards.

 

The Company previously received a written notification from NASDAQ on April 7, 2008, indicating that the minimum bid price of the Company's common stock had fallen below $1.00 for 30 consecutive trading days and that it was therefore not in compliance with NASDAQ Listing Rule 5550(a)(2), formerly Marketplace Rule 4310(c)(4). The Company was given a period of time to regain compliance with NASDAQ's listing rules.
