ASTROTECH CORPORATION CHANGES NASDAQ STOCK TICKER SYMBOL
Houston, TX (May 4, 2009) -
Astrotech Corporation, a leading provider of commercial space services, announced today that the Company will change its Nasdaq stock ticker symbol from SPAB to ASTC, in conjunction with its previously announced name change from SPACEHAB Incorporated to Astrotech Corporation. The stock ticker change has gone into effect for the trading community this morning, Monday, May 4, 2009.
Thomas B. Pickens III, Astrotech’s chairman and chief executive officer stated, “Implementing the new name change and trading symbol better aligns our corporate brand with our vision, and enables us to communicate our message more effectively.”
