Astrotech Vandenberg AFB

Astrotech owns and operates processing facilities located on a 60 acre leased site on Vandenberg Air Force Base at the Western Range. This site includes over 28,000 square feet of processing space. The Vandenberg facilities provide for non-hazardous and hazardous processing, hardware storage and customer office accommodations. Astrotech recently completed a new spacecraft processing bay that provides the capability to process five-meter class payloads. This five-meter high bay is capable of hazardous and non-hazardous processing and will provide an additional 8,500 square feet of clean room processing space and a 60-ton capacity overhead crane with a 100 foot hook height.
